Help!

Greetings all, and btw merry christmas.
My question is simple but I cant seem to find the answer to it. On a current power wagon, are diffs open untill you lock them up, or are the limited slip untill you lock them? I know this is probably a stupid question but I am not very versed in the workings of lockers and what not. Thanks for your time.

Front is open, rear is limited slip until locked.
