Help!!!

I started my truck and i was heading out of the parking lot but before i could get out of the parking lot my driver side door started smoking out of the window buttons the window and the door handle. i shut the truck off and after the smoke stopped i waited a while and tried to start it again and now nothing will work... please help. The truck is a 2004 Dodge ram quad cab 4.7

Sounds like a short in your door for power locks or windows

I would start by pulling the door panel off and check the wiring connectors behind. Take a VOM to each plug and check for continuity between the power wires and ground (for a short).
