I have been noticing a noise coming from my passenger side, under where my passenger side floor mats are. When I first heard it, I figured it was one of my electronic exhaust cutouts. I have a cutout located where the noise is coming from, and I figured I needed to tighten up the set screws and mounts. The noise sounds almost like the cutout is a little bit open and it's flaps on acceleration. I have tightened the cutout and mounts and have used TB cleaner to clean the carbon buildup. Still makes the noise. There is no noises when de-accelerating. The ticking doesn't happen when slowly accelerating or at higher rpms. I have heard some people saying it could be a bad catalytic converter, but I still have the tick when I have my cut outs open (by passing cats, direct dump from header). Doesn't sound like a lifter (which is what I hear is what the hemi tick usually comes from) because the noise is directly under the passenger side. If it would help I could maybe take some videos later today but maybe some of y'all could help me out with this info. Thanks

You can jack her up and slid under there and listen carefully. Not sure how you can hear anything with a cutout open?? Can also use a rubber hose to listen with to really isolate what you hear.

I listened very carefully around the cats and cutouts. I hear nothing. It makes no ticking at idle. Just when accelerating
