HERE'S THE BLACK & DIESEL GRAY COLOUR CODES

Posting this because in my search on touching up the interior found lots of people asking about this.

Spoke with Dodge this morning. The black is X8. Yes I know it can be an interior colour too but I doublechecked. It's X8. Has a long history on Dodge vehicles and it's not available from Dodge anymore. (But I have some duplicolor cross reference numbers to check out too)

The Diesel Grey is LA8. I didn't check if Dodge has the grey. I was specifically interested in the black for my doors for touch up. TouchUp Direct sells it and specifically lists it as an interiour colour.

My guess is they don't have X8 listed as an intererior colour as it's common to exterior and interior.

I'm probably going to check out the Duplicolor version today. If i find the cross reference in stock, I'll update to include that.

I was able to find a Duplicolour related to DX8 but not in an 8oz can. Only the pen,. I didn't find the Duplicolour pen version online but did find it on the guide at Canadian Tire, but they were out of it right now. I ended up buying some black I think it's Dupont vinyl paint hoping it would be close enough. It's in the inset part. It's not perfect but at least there isn't this obvious white streak in the area now. One day when I'm bored I might remove the door panel and spray bomb the whole thing...but i'm not bored. Nor in the mood right now. LOL
