HID cost

I've got the regular crap quad headlights and looking to upgrade to projectors. I know the cost for the headlight assembly is between $400-600. Once I purchase those what should a good HID kit cost and to get installed?

No problem and if you want to really up the output and feeling up to a task you can open them up and retrofit FXR 3.0 into it. They make an adapter plate and here is the light output from mine that I did. Fence across the road is about 100 feet away just low beams no fogs on. Or wait for the morimoto xb lights coming out.

Man those things are sweet. Yea I really want to increase my light output bc I do a lot of night driving and sometimes with these OEM halogens I can't even tell if they're on.

Retrofit would be my advice... I just finished these pair. This is my second set I have done now. If you take your time and dont rush it they arent that bad.

Although those XB are dual projector for low and high so you have quad lowbeam / highbeams. Pretty sure they are using there m-led projectors as well that are pretty close to mini ds2 output.

talk to [email protected] they are a preferred vendor here. I bought my morimoto 35Whid's from him and I believe they also have the retrofit kits as well. u can PM him also. Paid 200 for just the electronics as I have the projector housings.

Another concern is seeing if its something easy enough for myself to install. I'm very sceptical of having a shop install them bc they don't always know exactly what they are doing. I know a lot of ppl who have had bad experiences with shops installing bad kits. So I can buy all the good quality products and if I feel I can't install then I can have a pro do it and know I bought the right stuff
