Hid help

I just gut a HID kit and Projectors form JJ. And I was aiming the headlights tonight and one of the resistors got hot and melted off the fuse panel box where I had them mounted. I don't no if they're not grounded right but everything worked good. The ballasts got A little warm too. I don't no if that is normal. This is the first time I had HID's. So if you guys have any ideas let me no.

that is supposed to happen. be careful of the resistors. they get very hot! do not mount them on plastic.

ok I did not no that. I don't understand why only one of them got hot. I will mount them somewhere else where they can get more air. then try it again.

Check all your connections again and do what singlecabhemi suggested. Move those resistors away from anything that is plastic.

I apologize, I gotta get some info in my boxes on this stuff. Those boogers do get VERY hot, hot enough to melt through a battery!

Only one gets hot as its for the low beam. flip to highs, the other will get hot
