I saw an aftermarket option with the two holes already drilled ford hids and grommets for 60$ but I found that to be a little steep. I guess better than buying two new assemblies though

dealer is correct. you can't get them without a full light.

also, if I email you a picture of the morimoto setup I have for my 14 with factory projectors and fogs, can you tell me what else exactly ill need to make them work without issues or is it kind of trial and error??

Hey Jeremy, I received the kit today and everything looks good. Materials quality is definitely better than what I've had in the past from other manufacturers. Just need some tips regarding what's the best place for mounting the resistors since there are four of them, best method to mount (self tapping screws, nuts/bolts, etc) and easiest way to do the grounds.. Thanks!

Will the 50W kit melt the housings in these projectors? I haven't gotten in to them yet, so I don't know if they're metal or plastic housings.

I'm curious as well do most guys with the factory projectors run the 35w or 50w kit??

Finally got the lights in and they are working great! No errors or flickering. Took longer than I would have liked to get the harness set up but I'm happy. I'm running the '15 projector kit from RetroShop, 50W 6000k bulbs. The 50W kit washes out a lot of the color but they are bright!

Most OEM projector use Glass lenses. A 55W halogen actually produces A LOT of heat. Halogen projectors can get very hot. Usually if the clear lens of a projector is made from glass, 50W HID's won't be a problem. Just stay away from anything that is plastic. Many vehicles use plastic lenses for the fog light housings which is why we typically do not recommend HID's for use in fog lights. But rather LED's instead.

Great to know, thanks for the info! And you'll have a CAN kit out at some point? Gotta support my local businesses!

I just placed my HID order from Jeremy for my 2015

50w 5000k full harness for low beam projectors
35w 5000k can-bus kit for fogs

I have a long 4 day weekend, so hoping to have these since the Ram is getting some serious attention. Can't wait!

So i guess still no canbus kit for the low available... or is there a reason you went full harness??

I wanted more output....the canbus kit doesn't support the 50w kits, only the 35w. I like the idea of easier install with can - bus adapter....but 20% higher output swayed me in the end.

I would need somebody local who has a 2015 ram to let me spend probably several hours with it in order to figure out a canbus type solution. Or at least to collect enough data for me to design a solution.

There are a few potentially quick things I could test but, my guess is that it will be a more involved process.
