Hey guys,

Looking for some HID help here from you vets. I've had two issues in the past couple of weeks. First, passenger side fog light stopped working (was getting 12V to the ballast and it worked when I tried new ballast, but apparently ballast checks out and is being sent back to me?!)
Anyways, latest problem is with my four HID Hellas. The first few times I turned them on they worked fine. But now random lights turn on when I hit the switch (two middle lights sometimes, sometimes first three or last three, etc.). I've made my own grounds and used dielectric grease where necessary and was overall very particular. The only thing I had to do was splice the two connectors from both harnesses together (soldered) so I could use one switch for all four lights (one wire to 12V ignition source and the other to my OEM switch panel). Any suggestions? Just seems weird to me, I could see if it were the same lights that weren't turning on each time. Btw, these aren't the cheap Ebay kits.

Thanks, greatly appreciated,

got your PM back to you this morning - but for others........I'd check the voltage at the plug when one isn't firing up. Lots of moving parts there, best to narrow it down to a specific part.

Thanks for the reply, JJ. The weird part here is that literally every time I hit the switch a different cominbation of lights turn on. So it's not like it's the same one everytime. Seems like when I leave it for a while, the first time I hit the switch they all work. But when I turn it off and back on is when I run into trouble. So...at one point I just had the two middle lights turn on. So I checked for power at the two that didn't turn on. And sure as **** I was getting 12V at both. When I plugged them back into the ballast they then turned on. So I am really scratching my head here. :wtf2:
