I sent this same question to Jeremy at retro but I wanted to see if anyone here had a suggestion while my truck is still apart. Here's the email I sent him:

Headlights have been working great for a couple months now. Last night I could hear a buzzing coming from the relay. Lights were both on though and I decided to drive the rest of the way home. A few minutes later I could see flickering and the passenger side shut off.... The buzz continued. After being off for awhile the light came back on. Today I pulled the truck apart and checked all wiring and write brushed all grounds. Still the same symptoms. Another interesting thing that I can't make sense of is that both resistor packs are cold. They never do warm up. Maybe unrelated, I don't know. Thanks in advance for your help....

Ugh, I love how bright these lights are and how they look but I'm seriously about to go back to stock...

And no buzzing or flicker if the truck is not running

Wow, that is EXACTLY the same scenario I'm dealing with right now down to the cold resistors.

Did you ever solve the issue?

I unplugged them and flipped the plug 180°. I'll see if I still have the email he sent to see exactly which plug I flipped

Here was his response to the email I sent. I just copied what he wrote:

Weird...........lets try this. The capacitor might have gone, but lets test it!

Unplug this plug, flip it over 180 degrees, plug it back in. Any change?

Bingo....that seems to have fixed the issue. Resistors get hot now and no more buzzing.
