Hids in reverse lights with switch problem
So I replaced my fog lights with 2 sets of 3x3 cube led pods. So I had the hids that came from the fog lights and since I wasn't using them decided to install them in my reverse lights. I had an extra relay harness for the hids and used it in the install. The same time I installed them I also installed a switch in the cab for tailgaters. They work great and are very bright the only problem I seem to have is when I shift into reverse it blows the fuse. When I unplug the switch and only have it so it turns on when in reverse it works like normal with no problems. I was wondering if I should put a diode in where I tapped into the reverse light positive and if that would stop it from blowing fuses or if any one had an idea how to fix the problem.
