Has anyone else had an issue with one of their HID headlights turning off while driving and not wanting to turn back on? My grounds are good, idk what it could be. My passenger side turned off tonight and won't turn back on, it has turned off in the past but just switching them off then on again has fixed it. But not this time... I am keeping in touch with JJ about the issue so hopefully I get it resolved. But just want to know if anyone else has had this issue.

On the 09-12s, its a rather simplistic setup.

I just popped back a response to your email as well - thank you for the ground info. Grounds can be fun on electronics, I'm **** about them.........here's the grounds I did on the install from last weekend:

All the way to metal, dielectric over that to ensure a great ground, and a self tapping screw right through it all. I simply don't trust the OEM grounds.......but, thats me speaking from experience ;)

I do wonder now if the ballast is giving out, if you've got a multimeter, I'd love to see if we have power going to the ballast, ruling out the harness. Few moving parts in the system, lets rule a few out and I can get the correct replacement part out for you, get you lighting up the world again bud. ;)

Thanks JJ! I'm going to take it apart Monday and check the ballast with a multimeter, I have a secondary car that I can drive in the mean time!

Did you open them up to find them wet?

So I decided to just out my stock bulbs back in the meantime so I don't get pulled over and given a ticket. JJ is helping me out through the process to figure everything out

*UPDATE*

So me and JJ were going back and forth talking on the phone and through the process of elimination we figured out the ballast was the issue. He has helped out a lot, more than he had to! So thank you for your help, and if anyone is thinking about getting HID's , get them from RetroShop! The best place not only price but the customer service is out of this world
