High flow cat

I guess they make a little more sound then the stock ones power I doubt you'll notice much.. I have them on because they came with the American racing headers but if I didn't have to deal with inspections every year I would just do a dual set up without them

Most cats have been high flow since the late 80s when they got away from the large pancake style. OEM cats should be just fine.

As much fun as that would be, with an open diff right now I wouldn't have ANY traction..

You'd be surprised, but the stock cats flow as well or better than most aftermarket "high flow" cats.

I agree with the others. The only reason I see to run high flow cats is if you get them with a set of longtube headers. The cats alone arent going to make a big difference in power, so they would not be worth the added cost. If getting longtubes, then having a set of smaller high flow cats welded in as part of the y-pipe makes things much easier and performs great.

ok, guess ill pass that one off then, Im just gettn the mod bug again and dont know what way to go. Wife wont let me do any (electrical) like a tuner. And with the cut out, shees plenty loud enough. I realy wanted the bully dog but Its a little out of the budget.
