yes i did and it works and best of all it is cheap 175 cad $ for 200 amp

What year dsl??? Because all I am finding is 120-136 amp. I went from 91-08 Got a full part number to post please.

you can use an alternator from a dodge durango... thats what i did, 160 amps so a lil better than stock ram one, plus it was cheaper than the 136 amp one for the ram. think i payed like $100-120 but has lifetime warrenty

Theres a local company to me called tenney alternators, they build a nice ho alt for not much more than a oem. They normally build custom for spl stereo guys but I have talked to them and they are selling to diesel guys too, cause with lighting, stereo, and all the addons oem just isnt keeping up. You can find them facebook and they will ship anywhere. And powdercoat any color for additional cost

I use Mechman 370 amp. Need a half inch smaller serpentine and some meatier cables & you’re good to go

I've tried the half inch shorter belt and it gets me to the tension indicator line on the tensioner but it should be between the indicator lines to be perfect. Where is your indicator lined up to?
