Just hit 100k in my 2015 1500 w. the Pentastar V 6
First vehicle I ever had with 100k and been driving a long time :O I'm 72 !
Been a great ride and it had 100% synthetic oil change around every 5k
Not sure how much time it has left but will see

Nice! My 2014 is about to hit a milestone as it is my first purchased new vehicle. I never had a vehicle under 90,000 before my current truck which is on 88k now. That 90,000 mile used 99 Ram Sport went to 224,000 (still running great) when I traded it in for my 2014. I have no intention of getting rid of mine before 200k.

My 2014 is just a bit over 116,000, i bought it "used" with 22,000 on it and still under the original 3/36 factory warranty.
So far this truck has cost more in routine maintenance than repairs, and at 68 and retired I'm hoping it will stay that way! So far, so good!


EDIT: While some of my vehicles were purchased new most of the used ones had 30k miles or less. I always wanted new but I also wanted "the other guy" to eat that massive up-front depreciation.
I also bought 2 vehicles with over 100k miles, one had 113,000 and the other had 120,000. Both ran well and gave me a good return on my reduced investment.

On m RAM and Car I change oil around every 5k with 100% full synthetic !
Other then front differential that was my only big repair !
All else was routing maintenance
So far I love this Pentastar V6
One of my sons borrowed the RAM to tow his 17ft boat to a buddy's camp and was shocked how will it ran and pulled the boat !

Not a Ram, but we bought a new 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with the 3.6 L Pentastar V6 this year, and we are surprised how well that it runs and amazed how well that it tows our 17' Lund fishing boat! I honestly like the way that it tows better than my 5.7 Hemi Ram. I dumped the factory fill 0w20 at 1000 miles and went with Mobil1 5w30 with a Fram FE oil filter. Will change the oil and filter again at 5000 miles, then every 5000 miles thereafter.

I just turned over 100k in my 2020 1500. No problems so far (knock on wood!), just oil changes at least every 5,000 miles. It’s about ready for its next set of tires.

I saw the newer Hemis are calling for 0w-20 now too...

0-20 is all about CAFE, and nothing else. As soon as your warranty is up go to 5w-30 and never look back.
