The missing badge looks kinda suspicious. But it's probably the bumper.

Yeah I have sanded the badge down with some 180 sand paper and I was worried that it was not good enough. So I have it soaking in a bowl of bleach trying to see if that works. I read that the one guy on here that did his black and neon green he soaked his decal in bleach to remove the chrome. It's been soaking for 2 hours now so I will see here soon. I just hope that I did not screw it up by soaking it in bleach.

So the emblem has holes eaten in some spots and others has nothing done to it. So bleach is not meant to be soaked for long period of time then. There goes that badge. Live and learn. I'll take a picture of it in a second.

Yes so eveyone needs to know soaking emblems in bleach till chrome paint comes off is not the thing to do.



The bronze color is pitted very badly and feels like sand paper.

The black bubbles are not water spots but now bubbles in the black coating.

So I guess I get to order the custom badges I always wanted. It's a win!!

Yeah dealership does not have any on hand and I will have to pay $56 due to shipping. That is alot of money for me to jack up painting it in my garage I think I will get a custom badge made for me. Any ideas on what I should get?? It will be black and red to match but other then that I now have to figure out what to get.

Yeah so I have 2 ideas and I will start a poll on what I should do. Turp yeah brother we have gotten like 140" of snow so far this year. That is a common task.
