For now I might drop the h9 bulbs in and see if that holds me over. One thing I'm retarted on is electronics, so I need to look at what options I have. My pass housing has a broken tab, so I would like to just replace things once, but I know that gets pricey quick.

I did retrofits in new housings. Not cheap, but way better than everything else I had tried in the quads. Recently upgraded to the Nightbreaker laser D2S bulbs and SuperNova V.4 Amber LED's in the high beam reflector. Out here in the sticks that combo is awesome in the dust or rain and really helps you see the deer before it's too late.

I have them in my db list as 0.5" lift even though they are supposed to not lift the truck, they are stiff but shorter than stock, this are not springs for longer than stock shocks without a spacer.

Depending on your truck weigth, if you're looking for 2" lift and linear rates, you could do 3" BDS springs and let weigth drop them to 2 or 1.5"

I haven't been able to find the BDS springs, any chance you have a link?

Thanks for the suggestion.

So I remembered to check my measurement for full droop from ride height when installing my boras today.
8" Tire to fender ride height
10.5" tire to fender full droop.

So about 2.5" of droop maxed out under my ecodiesel. Still convinced I gained way more than the 2.3" advertised lift. If it weren't such a pain to adjust these I'd lower them one setting. But oh well.

Picture of tire clearance with my 1.5 spacers installed on 285 70 17s . Should only have minor trimming to do to fit some 35s. c6ad7e6d83a1d0563f469eee87228578.jpg999f308cf113d83d08267387b0a42155.jpg179c6e7192c174108c0a764a148d3227.jpg

2.5" droop is not bad Hodge considering you're running them all the way to the top, Icon recommends no less than 2" droop for example in their coilovers. Wonder if you'll have more extension with aftermarket UCA's ?
Bruiser has 3.5" droop in his Icons with his front lifted around 2.5", he's running the Icon Delta joins, i have 3,5" droop with my front lifted around 2.5" with the Kings OEM and Zone UCA's, I had 3.5" with the Ranchos at 2" lift.

Idk, I wonder if these 6112s just are a bit short. With my spacer and stock struts I had about 3.5-4" droop iirc. I have pics floating in a thread somewhere. That being said, after flogging my truck like o did today I won't nit pick over it, sure I'd like more but after the way the truck performed today I don't wanna mess with a good thing.

Went to AOAA Offroad Park in PA. There was nothing but 6" of soft half melted snow, mud, and rocks everywhere. They truck flexs like a stripper on dollar night and just handled everything so well. Open diffs and I was able to hang with way better equipped trucks. Aside from dragging my ass everywhere since 33s aired down to 19psi don't really have that much in the way of ground clearance. Out here it's 4lo all day and k never got out of second gear. Side note, this baby diesel sips fuel and is awesome offroad. Gobs of torque, just need a basic tune to eliminate the low end turbo lag.

I do need upper arms asap as I tore both boots, and I have a set of used 315s I scored from my buddy at the shop for cheap that are going on this week. Gonna add the one skid plate for the steering I don't have and than it's bumper and sliders. Oh and I need to do a muffler delete as these garbage cans hanging under the rig do nothing but catch rocks. 35s, arms and the skid plate is too priority as I was dragging over everything. This truck thoroughly impressed me, one of the most capable trucks I've ever run in pretty much stock trim. Gotta get it ready for the April trail run!

Was nearly impossible to shoot quality pics with a caravan of about 20 rigs. Plus it was so wet and cold I wasn't keen on getting out. Next trail ride in April. 93c38778a66f7cc61d236b1806fb1f2a.jpg1f3cb93c15fa0eae24478f5b43fd5a90.jpg9cf94a6ceca2547be3844603ebd9960c.jpg5b331a374901bbb439ff350d93327af0.jpg5ad2f9a956aedc263dd38b0ce3eeddfb.jpgd0ccfd83cd893b8d59da5cad53b17c2e.jpg

I also failed to mention in my droop post, the 6112s are still holding true to about 39 1/4" to 39 1/2". Not much settling, tho they've broken in nicely. So I think I lose a bit of down travel to the fact that I'm sitting close to 3" front lift.

Aoaa Off-road Park in Shamokin Pa. It's full size friendly, had a Power Wagon in our group I drooled over. Surprisingly I actually was able to out wheel him, break over angle killed him on stock tires.

I need sliders, bad. My rockers hate me [emoji16]

Nice, I heard of that place but never been there. Looks like a nice place to wheel

Yeah the stock tires even being 33's are too small. The PW needs at least 35's if not bigger. Time for some white knuckle sliders!

You should try and make the ride down for the April run! This place is really not bad for full size rigs. Without snow it will be a bit more enjoyable.

As for sliders I may look into the randy Ellis designs. I know they are body mounted, but my rockers took a full ride down the pinch seam today when I came over a crest with much more drop on the back side than it looked like from the seat, rode the pinch seam wheel to wheel full length of the cab and it didn't do anything but scratch paint. I'm sure they aren't as strong as the Wks but the rebel I was with has less clearance to the sliders on 35s in offroad mode than I did on 33s. He was banging those ******** all day, my xj had body mounted that I abused more than I ever will this truck, I want them for a whoops I tagged them moment, not really to use as a pivot point or anything. The trails I'm looking to run are about what I did today, so 35s and a few pieces of armor just in case and I'll be fine. Any harder trails and this thing aos goin to be trailering a rig to the park.

Attached a video my buddy took. If it works, idk how to do videos here. Listen closely and you can hear the truck bottom out and ride the crossmember about mid way through. 35s are a minimum at this place with the ruts.

New ready lift UCAS have been ordered thanks to the man myth and legend nick@gotexhausthttp://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5c85c0ea0c6af/received_1370858223054178.mp4

Check the droop after you get those Readylift uca's, that will let you know if the struts are a little too short or if the stockers are not allowing the struts to reach full extension. Also put them side by side to see if the Readylift are offset or not.

Curious to see your feedback on them. I had contemplated getting them from Nick, but in the end that crazy BJ on the JBA's got me.

You got it! For the price they should be just fine, are there better options, for sure. I'll get the normal pics and criticism up as soon as they are in hand. I got a funny feeling the 6112s are shorter in conjunction with I'm sitting a bit higher than I anticipated.

24 +/- a little hub to fender
39 1/2 ground to fender

Hard to be entirely accurate with the spacers now but for arguments sake nothing has changed from initial settling after install
