So since I've been here for a while and finally got around to getting some things ordered I'll start myself a little build thread to keep info on things in one place.

As of now the truck is stock aside from an unknown spacer level installed by the previous owner. Being around the 4wd world most of my life I've always modded my rigs to the point of impractical so I'm trying to turn a new leaf and keep this one utilitarian and practical....we'll see how it goes [emoji854].

So far this black Friday I managed to grab the basics to start my foundation. Scored a set of **** cepek fun country's 285 70 17 for 200. Over 1/2 tread and installed em on stock wheels. I was worried they'd look too small but I'm satisfied enough for now that they'll do. Performance is no different. Ordered the Eibach Pro Lift. 2.75/1" kit for it. Not really chasing the lift so much as a little better shocks to handle the drive and light offroad and work duty. I'll have a review on it once everything is doing under the truck in the next couple weeks. Only other thing I managed to get waa some boring seat covers. So nothing too crazy for now. Need a tune to doable the EGR and I wanna straight pipe from the Dpf back just to lose the pointless mufflers. I still need to get floor mats and some things sorted for storage, I'm and ironworker so I need my tools with me and I've already managed to stuff my bed box so I'm thinking a decked system may be in the works.

For now I'm gonna keep be a super budget, bang for the buck build. Truck got some love, so now I need to get a bathroom and engagement ring and guns before I can get too fancy with mods, soooo be patient. Here's some pics so to hold you boys over. 4a97bbc0343f8cdaf1fc06734989d20c.jpg2a1cb13cce1d3092d06b411d4ffca9e2.jpgea34d1bcd4b81584b1e91f1226139b02.jpg4740a91ffdb6bf3ea6907e9d6ff85e71.jpgf6862fd2819a699ffd9a7df9220cdde8.jpg9924630f0fcb3fd1ef0234c44ef1373f.jpg4357ceb77636efdb78ed5186b6f63514.jpg86b698250ef11710dcf337ce78ceeddb.jpg801a8659ff9341dc8b336873ad793b9a.jpg

The pics are in pretty chronological order. I'm still trying to catch up on a minimal maintenance regimine from the previous owner. 8187771af56bac79bf8d99f68a08c7ce.jpg0ef20984ccaf1ec0c274a0fc60c17e14.jpg627bd2768f391380eb8f90c9fbef473c.jpg14da7ac12eda87fc6c91355fdedec85b.jpg42a55ece7aea0b43778d431c25d08d2d.jpg65f951198b3aad298c931ddfb549e631.jpg59367ea64a1c71d3aa91ae9b1f236292.jpg

I told mine I got it for the MPG, which was phenomenal....emphasis on was. It's still awesome in the low to mid 20s but consider that a short term infatuation.

That's my EGR tube and MAP sensor. "Exhaust Gas Recirculation " feeds a certain amount of exhaust back into intake for emission control. It's the Achilles heel of modern diesels. This buildup is throughout the intake tract. Tune should disable the actuator and valve closed to "bypass" while still keeping emissions in tact. I wanted to delete it but there's so much goin on with the ecodiesel and the epa, plus NJ requires inspection I'm just gonna leave it alone and plan maintenance and the such accordingly. It is what it is. I'll toss a motor at it in 200k miles
