Hey all -
'15 Ram Black Edition. Noticed that there is a "hole" marked out near the cab in the plastic bed rails, but there doesn't appear to be anything underneath it like at the rear bed rail hole.

These would be nice for a flag pole or something, has anyone cut these out?

Mine was the same way. I took a carpenters knife cut inside the line installed putco bed rails. The back one was open with the line about 1/4" away from the hole had to trim that as well. There should be a hole under that. Between the inside of the box and inside of the rear inner fender. Unless they changed it from 2014 to 2015

Technician who prepared my truck told me they "never" open those for clients, only the rear ones. Mine looks the same.

Did you ask why they never open them? Its a great way to block perfect cargo securing points....

What he said. Here's a picture of mine after installation.
