My 2019 2500 Turbo Diesel has 44K on it. I have no idea why I have not asked this on the forum before.
The truck has been one of the best vehicles I have ever owned! It performs without an issue except at slow speeds over bumps and pot holes on our gravel road on occasion the front end makes a hollow clunk noise as if the top of the shock assembly has something worn out and the strut drops with more travel than it is supposed to. The dealer says there's nothing found and can't seem to duplicate the noise. It makes this noise on the left or right and has done it since the truck was new off the lot.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!

When you are spinning in 4wd sometimes your front axle will start to hop. Normally it's just a bounce you feel but mine made a horrible banging sound as well, possibly similar to yours. Went away with new shocks.

I'd be concerned with ball joints. Is the outer edge of your tires wearing faster than the center?
