Hood decal installed!

Finally got a friend to install the Mopar decal on the hood! I’m happy with the final product. I thought it was a mat black decal when I was looking at amazon, when I opened I noticed the carbon fiber pattern,I decided to go head and have it installed.

I like the idea, but I was quoted $285 to make and install one like that. I'm a cheap SOB, and that seems a bit too much for my wallet.

No, just go to Amazon and search carbon fiber mirrors for your truck and you'll find em. They actually have a 3-D pattern and look real but are hydro-dipped. They're referred to as 4-D though?

I've thought this, too...although I think a red CF (to match my Reb's innards) would rock even more! Yeah, a red "antiglare" patch doesn't make much sense, but I bet it'd look sharp.
