Hi, I have a new 2016 4x2 crew and for some reason when I press the horn there is about a 1/2 second delay before it makes any noise, and about 1/2 of noise after I let off. Is this normal? I've never had a Ram before and all the horns in all my other vehicles were almost hair trigger sensitive. With this truck it's impossible for me to give a polite "tap" when someone doesn't realize the light is green. Just wondering if I need to talk to the dealer about it. Thanks

The horn goes through a relay now...supposedly, it saves gas somehow. I hate it.

I think horns have always used relays. At least for several decades. Maybe you meant CAN bus?

There is a thread floating around here on a mod to fix this issue. The delay sucks and getting a quick soft toot is next to impossible now.
