I've considered that. I just liked the appeal of keeping the same engine. I have thoroughly considered dropping the 6 speed in there though.

Just remember modding a Hemi is considered cheap compaired to modding the V-10 and modding a Hemi is not on the cheap side.

If i was worried about cost, I would not be considering custom making parts for the 3.7L so i could build a stronger engine and put a blower on it.

^The OP does have a point in that regard. lol

Besides, it's just so much cooler to say "Yeah, that's an 8.3L (or 8.0L, depending on year) Viper V10 in there, buddy." :naughty:

Best "sleeper" would be doing a CTD swap and a bunch of frame work. A gas motor can never make the TRQ those do and depending on how you let if breath no one would suspect it. The average person still thinks of diesels being slow, not that with alill tuning and a turbo your in the low 11's high 10's. A V-10 has a sound that you can not mask no matter what exhaust you use. A Hemi with a decent cam will lope and its hard to hide that unless you run a restrictive muffler and stock manifolds. Its all relative on what the goal is.

I agree, but it is ugly as all get out. lol

As for a Ram sleeper I would think a forged engine with a turbo would work.

Did have some fun with a chevy truck the other day. I was on a side street getting ready to pull out on the main street for about 200 yds then jump on the freeway on-ramp. Had a unmarked police car in front of me and the red-neck was behind me reving up with some loud pipes. The police car pulled out and I waited a few seconds then jumped to the street and then left quickly following the police car. The chevy came out, got straight and passed me wot heading straight for the rear of the cop car. I turned onto the on ramp.... :)

There is nothing sleeper about that truck other than how ugly it is.

That bug is very real. I have seen it run. After all, I live in the 405! Those are some really good guys on that show too. New season started this week and I am psyched! Farmtruck and Murder Nova runs a lot at Thunder Valley where I play. I used to race bikes out there(cbr1100xx, GS1100ES,GSX1100G, ZX12, ZZR1200, M109R, ZX14R), but, hopefully, can run Devil Dog out there soon and not be too slow.
