Anyone ever use these products? The review seem great, wondering if anyone has used them with any luck? She just turned 92k and getting ready for an oil change, thinking about giving these a shot.

I would just use a good oil that has good additives already so you dont need to add anything.

I do, use mobile 1 full synthentic and a Mobil 1 filter since I bought it

I believe the Mobil 1 EP has alittle better additive package, if you wanted something with alittle more protection to it.

I think this is what @Ramnewbie runs in his truck.

Agree with 69, if you need to use additives in your oil, you should upgrade your oil.

That stuff was suposed to be the cure for injector problems with super duty powerstroke engines. Not sure what it would do for a hemi.

Yup due to the injectors used oil pressure to fire.

These HEUI injectors sheared the living Chit out of ALL oils!
If the owner neglected oil Change maintenance. Over a short period of time any oil deposits or contamination forming within these injectors would cause the injectors to not function properly.

The additive must be loaded with detergents.
Honestly this additive would do nothing for a gasoline engine except probably clean.

The FR3 is a different animal.

With all that spewed out: I do use the HSS Diesel Extreme fuel additive every 6 months.

After my 3 gallons of Schaeffers 9000 5W-40 is poured in for next winters oil change & used. I will begin using the HSS Blue Diamond 5W-40 which incorporates the FR3 product.

^^ This all depends on the Sporadic Pricing Schaeffers oil goes through due to their greedy Jobbers.
