How do I tap into my horn wiring to add a louder horn?

I really dont want to remove any wheel well cowling or parts. Anyone tell me how to tap into the wiring to add a louder horn?

Why not just piggy back of the actual horn?

because I believe you have to remove the cowling behind the front tire to access. I am hoping someone can tell me where I can access the wiring to it....

Instead of tapping into the wiring, why not simply replace the existing horns and reuse the OE wiring and connectors?

I can see the horns inside of the front grill on my gen 4, which only takes a few minutes to remove. Yours must be similar.

YouTube has several videos on grill removal. Just watch several until you know how to reduce the risk of breaking the mounting clips.

I can see the horns inside of the front grill on my gen 4, which only takes a few minutes to remove.

On the Gen4 1500s the horn is mount above the driver's side front wheel, the wheel-well liner just has to be flexed out of the way to get at it. I pulled my driver's headlight to mount the self-contained air horn and wired the relay for it to the factory horn wiring.

I have to wonder if my Warlock developed horn envy at Warren and snuck into the wrong line.

I was sure I saw 2 horns mounted in front of the rad, the last time I was installing headlight bulbs. I couldn't see it anywhere else when I looked a few minutes ago.

My bad - sorry - I mistakenly thought the horn was behind the wheel well - nope - see them now in front middle of the radiator. I still want a louder horn and guess it is better to run a separate switch. Now if I can just find a good place to mount the horn... not much room under the hood

It would have snuck into SHAP which is a couple miles away, the Gen4 and Gen5 trucks are built at different plants.
Although it could have stole a set from another truck while at the Mopar Custom Shop if your truck has the OEM bed liner.. LOL

When I wanted louder warning-horns …(tired of other drivers Looking Me RIGHT IN THE EYE…and then pulling out in front of me when I’m pulling a heavy trailer) … I installed TRAINHORNS.

I powered them (and their compressor) with a common Bosch-type 12V relay tied in parallel to the OEM horns, using the relay to supply the increased power-demands of the system. As I wanted this primarily for the highway…. An addt’l switch enabling that relay allowed me to choose NOT to have it operational while In-Town (where laws prohibited excessively-loud horns.).

just add a solenoid at the factory horn, run 12V from the battery to power the new horn. But if you don't want to remove any covers , just pay someone.

Years ago, I had a set of air horns on a small truck, ran off a little compressor.
In the early 1960's had one that run off a freon tank.
Very good for jaywalkers.
These days it would be great for card carrying wacko's

Turns out it was really simple to remove and put back the cover over the radiator. Lost some skin on my knuckles against the radiator fins, but was able to tap into the positive lead from the horns. Bought a 12v air horn cheaply on Amazon and ran a ground and done. Pretty loud. Hardest part was finding a place for the horn, not much room under the hood and didnt want to put it underneath where it could get full of gunk. If I can find a good location, I would like to upgrade, I like not having a separate switch for the horn...

If this horn is louder than the stocker I would just put a toggle switch in the hot line running from the stocker to the new one

Flick it off and only the stocker will sound, flick it on and both will (of course this still feeds from the horn button on the steering wheel
