How do you organize your iPod for easier navigation using the Uconnect?

So I have a 2010 1500 with Uconnect. In the upper glove box there is a factory wire that plugs into an iPod. The issue I have is since I have close to 10,000 songs on my iPod it takes forever and a day to find a specific song. The uconnect does have a search alphabetically feature but but only allows you to select the first letter of the song you're looking for (some head units allow you to start typing out the name and it will pull up the songs that match as you type) and if there are 300 songs that begin with the same letter it takes some doing to find it. Not to mention since there is no remote, this requires a lot of looking away from the road. Is there a simpler way to organize all my songs to make them more easily accessible using the uconnect?

I have all of my stuff in playlists according to what I want to hear. I probably have about half as much as you and it would be a nightmare if I didn't have them in playlists.
