I gotIMG_20191112_085047220.jpg in the cold truck this am and scrolled through to look at temps and saw this on the way. I know this engine hours info can't be correct. Obviously I don't keep record of this usually, but I know this isn't the right info. How does this happen?

Possibly due to the cold. Sometimes the computer don’t think right because it’s cold.

I'm thinking it calculates the idle time whenever the ECM is powered up, not necessarily when the engine is running....

I see you're travelling at an average speed of over Mach 6, very impressive.

We get pretty cold here too but I never look at this screen, I'm going to have to keep an eye on it now.

I have a 2017 6.7 Big Horn and the same thing happened to me when truck was at the dealer for fuel/water issue. The service writer thought I was crazy until he started doing the math. I live in Houston and mine happened about 6-8 months ago. The dealer had no explanation for the reason it happened. It now shows that I have 467 hours of idle time and 98
something hours of drive time with 62k on the odometer.
