How long for a build to arrive?

Hello everyone, I ordered my Laramie Sport last week, 4/10/2019 and the dealer said it could take 6 to 12 weeks to arrive. That seems like a big window to me. How long did it take your build to show up and when did you order it?

Mine was ordered on 2/18 and showed up on 3/27.

That was fast! Nice truck.
I have read other threads with the same topic but they were from early 2018. I am hoping the orders show up a little quicker now that the 2019 isn’t as “new” for production.

Ordered mine 3/18 and it was delivered to dealer 4/17. They said that was the fastest they’ve ever seen. They had told me 6-8weeks.

Ordered a Limited around March 12th and it showed up at dealer this week. They said they hadn't seen anything take longer than 8 weeks. Taking delivery this weekend!

Laramie ordered a few days ago. Was told possibly 6 to 8 weeks but could get here sooner. We will see. Test drove a Laramie for a short distance today. I really like it.

You would not believe how unorganized the automakers are, which makes accurately predicting anything pretty tough. For example, the F150 plant in Dearborn works four 10 hour days to avoid paying ot because they allowed them to take ot after 8 hrs out of their contract. They have decided its a good idea to only have enough parts to run as they use them and no surplus on hand for assembly. The plant regularly runs out of parts due to various reasons and they stand there getting paid to do nothing or get sent home with a minimum amount of pay no matter how long they were there. If it happens enough they have to work the 5th day on ot to make it up. The examples go on and on.

Just an update; my truck arrived at the end of May. Just over a month from when it was ordered. The truck is awesome! Happy with my purchase so far. Just over 1,000 miles and it is the nicest vehicle I have ever owned.

I haven't bought a factory ordered vehicle since I bought a Blazer in 84..and it arrived with a broken windshield. lol. I feel so old.

PS- the truck arrived on Dec 22nd. Kind of a Xmas present to myself, except I had sustained the first of 3 major back injuries. I was lying on my stomach in the hospital getting an enema when my wife gave me the news it had arrived (enema because I was on tylenol 3's with codeine and turns out i am allergic to codeine and that's how it manifested itself in a big way)
