I did redo the wiring thinking the same thing. Checked to make sure I wasn't getting any ohms between them. I may have to get another opener. Seems odd that that's the part that would fail.

Are you sure yours is compatible with 2012? They are a different part for 2013+ trucks but both will plug in and open garage doors.

Yes. The part has been dicontinued. New one's are around $300. Used are a lot less.
