I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Sport. Looking to upgrade my tire size. The truck is stock with 53,*** miles. The truck is currently sitting on the stock 245/75R16's (30.5x9.6). I'm looking to buy a set of 305/70R16's (33x12.30).
The truck is currently on the stock 16in rims and I would prefer to run an after market wheel later on. I am planning to buy a set of 16x8 Mickey Thompson Classic Baja Locks.
Q1: Will the 33x12.3 fit on the stock rims?
Q2: Will I need/How much lift do I need to fit the 305's without rubbing the fender?
Q3: Will I need to upgrade my gears from the stock 3.55's to to something like a 4.10's to prevent wear on the drive train and prevent the mpg from further decreasing.
Q4: What backspacing/offset will I need for the rims?
Q5: Any other things to consider?
