Finishing up the FF on my truck this weekend. All that is left is spraying the underbody, inside frame rails and inside rockers ( dont forget there are 2 sides to them)

Already did inside:
Front Fenders
Hood
Door pillars
Cab corners
Tail gate

Edit: forgot to mention inside all the doors are done too. Im a **** ding….or is it ding ****….

And apparently you can not say the word
D
O
N
G
Anymore. Man this world is woke beyond belief

See how much if my 5 gallon bucket of FF I have left but I may cut it a bit with soy oil.

Don't forget to take off the tail lights and spray both the inner & outer panels internally.
Oh dang!

Been spraying my truck for 8 years now and have never done that.

Figure id share a bit.

And the rear tail light area. I realized I have been spraying that all along but up through the hole the wire harness goes thru (under the truck) so I am good there.

Cant list all the holes I stick my 360 straw in. But if it is a hole and it fits…..well use your imagination.

Here I am sharing again. Quite possibly i’ve already shown you the stuff but hey, here it is again ‘tis the season.

Ye old set up.
The place I lay her to spray her

The still going strong $20 HF paint sprayer and warm FF

Warm FF VS cold (never actually gets to 200 degrees)

Atomized FF with the electric sprayer

Some new discoveries

Wow GREAT info!!

Funny you should mention the bottom of the fenders as I just found this yesterday on my truck. Probably a good 1/4" of caked mud at the bottom of the fender. Thankfully it was Fluid Film/Wool Wax soaked mud but still good to get it out of there and apply some fresh FF/WW.

Setup a test for the creeping and wash away properties of Fluid Film, WoolWax, and NHOU.

For reference this is taking my finger and dabbing it on the back frame of my camper. It isn't exposed directly to the weather but it isn't protected either. Figured it was a good spot to test.

I find it interesting that it is way more of a liquid than FF but is said to stay in place longer.

Really appreciate the test. Im going to try to remember to call them tomorrow and ask how compatible it is with rubber and plastic.

Thank you Corey!

If this all pans out im switching away from FF.

Reminds me of a penetrating oil the way it creeps. And you said it is dang near the viscosity of gear oil? Or slightly thicker?

Cant wait to see the “wash away” test

Thank you so much. Im already rooting for NHOU

Easy name to remember too LOL

Id prefer to have a much thinner product for the inside of things. You can often see how FF will gel up sometimes in the door or rocker drain holes. That makes me go insane thinking about the gelling.

Id rather it leave a light residue on the INSIDE of things and just do a light spray once a year

And the way that creeps. Id use it inside my frame rails too over FF

Just had an argument with the wife about the word “gelling”

Is it gelling
Jelling
jellying
PB&Jing…?

It's gelled, or gelling when referring to fuels, oils, lubricants, ect.
