Great write up. But dangnabbit if moparpartsgiant didn't decide to zero out the 6509233AA self tapping nuts in my order, so not i gotta buy em again, and pay shipping a second time...so I got a front axle plate but way to attach it.... yet.

But I learned my lesson and will wait for the rest to show up and see what other parts are missing and at least combine shipping on everything thats missing.

I have that one . I would spend a few more bux and buy a better brand. Stay away from anything looks like this one.

I have had to disassemble and overhaul (hammer) it many of times. The inserts work but are thin and strip easy. I finally just bought some aluminum ones from ace and steel ones from eBay.

Wish I could suggest a better brand but I'm sitting in the doctors office right now.

I wouldn't suggest something like this for the size of rivnuts you need. The reason is with the handle off to the side it's too easy to put them in crooked and if the threads get squished on one side you'll have serious problems getting the bolt in (or out) That's why I'd suggest the two handle kind. It's easier to get symmetric leverage and control.

I might skip the steering motor skid plate as it seems tucked up behind the front cross member anyhow? Suppose I should just go look under my truck, lol.

No there is not, unfortunately. I've heard of people modifying a fuel tank skid plate for power wagons and putting them on 1500s but I haven't actually seen pictures of that.

Mopar spec is 13 ft. lbs for all of them so that's what I did.
