I have a 2012 5.7 4WD and I had my transmission rebuilt. For some reason, the data plate is now gone off of my transmission. Does anyone know how to identify what transmission your ram has without the sticker? Thanks.

66RFE transmission
- For 2012, the Ram gets a new six-speed automatic transmission and as a result, a fuel economy increase.
The 545RFE was the transmission until the 2011 model year

We're both rightNo, the 66RFE was used in HD models.
2012 brought the 65RFE to 1500's which was mechanically identical to the 45 and 545RFE dating back to around 1999. The only new thing the 65 did was let you select all 6 forward gear ratios in order whereas the 545 would only use 5 and a "2 prime".
