Hi hope someone can help. I just rebuilt a 360 magnum I have a question on base timing. from what I understand I set the timing mark on the harmonic bal to 0* on the compression stroke, then set the distributer to number 1 and inline with the line going across the plastic disc under the rotor (cam position sensor). now that got me in the ballpark and I was able to start the engine. now I was told to get a DRB tool and go to set sync and set the base timing to 0* the problem is I do not have access to a DRB tool. does anyone know of another diagnostic tool I can plug in to the OBD plug that has that sync option on it.
thanks
Walter

I believe the Snap-On MT2500 can do it, but don't quote me.
