i saw a thread on this a while back. it looked awesome but if i remember right it required some custom fab work. i think it was fenders, grille, hood and then modifications to the hood latch and some other stuff.

You have to fab bumper brackets. Headlights and fenders are the same.

so leave fenders and headlights alone correct?

swap bumper and grill how about the hood does that need to be replace and as for fogs does the plug i have a direct plug in play to the HD bumper fog lights?

and is the grill a direct replacement to my 1500?

and when you say fabricate what do you mean?

Guy did this awhile back and posted it on another forum, name is Adidas_ks. He posted a write up and pics also. If you do a search you should be able to find it over there.

1500s have different frames from the HDs which is why there is cutting and welding to be done to the brackets to get them to work
I doubt there is a bolt on bracket for the conversion

There's a guy that did on the dodgetalk forum...
This aint the guy I'm thinking about, but he might have done a lot of custom work.

Wow - unless you own a body shop, or have FU (OJ) money and this is your hobby, wouldn't it be more cost effective to simply buy a 2500? :bs:
