A big howdy comin' at ya from the rainshine state!

I'm the proud owner of a 2006 Ram 2500 SLT QC 4x4 CTD with a massive 8,200 miles on the odometer.

Not much else to say, I reckon. Have a good one!

Thanks for the welcome! I am the second owner. My father was the original owner, he bought it new and then a few months later had a stroke that prevented him from being able to drive anymore, so mother just kept it parked except for a short trip to the to trash collection site once or twice a month. Now that she's up there in years and unable to care for herself, she decided to sign the title over to me. So now I'm in the process of taking care of a few age related issues, such as having put new tires on it, as I didn't trust driving on 15 year old tires, no matter how new they look.

Well, sorry for the way it all went down (been there myself) but good luck with the truck, sounds like you're doing all the right things. Yeah, you can shine up old tires, but ya can't make 'em hold air through the dry rot cracks.. LOL...

I was happy to get rid of the OEM Michelin LTX all-seasons anyways. Great rain tires on the blacktop, but they really left a lot to be desired on these soft sugar-sand rural roads around here. Barely more useful than racing slicks in a mud pit.
