HVAC Controls acting up.

I've got a 2010 6.7 crew cab and the HVAC controls are going kind of wonkie.

If you turn on the fan none of the push buttons operate but the fan does blow. The air comes out the heater vent and changing the air control does not change the air flow.

The A/C, defrost buttons don't light up nor do they function.

I haven't check anything as of yet. Just wondering if this is common or if anyone else has had the issue.

After doing absolutely nothing I get in the truck and it all works fine.

I did order new head control unit just to have. Call it a $220 save the weekend investment.
