Ok gang.....I have what alot of you might cal a dumb question, however I am curious. Being in the military, with a family money is tight. So my question is if I put 4:56s on the rear what would happen if i left the fronts stock?

You could only be in 2wd. If you tried to switch to 4wd then you would have some major damage.

if you never put it into 4wd, nothing will happen.

if you do, bad, terrible things. wheels frantically hopping resulting in broken stuff, hopefully a ujoint before something in the axle or tcase

what they said. I would be afraid throwing it in 4x4 by habit...but then it would be too late

Good suggestions ^^^^

DON'T put in in 4WD or, better yet, remove that front driveshaft.

Also make sure you keep the tires the same size, ya cant do like the 2wd guys do with the taller slicks in the back and the small front runners if you use 4x4.
