So I really love the look of duals in the Sport and R/T gas trucks.

Now I'm wondering if I could fab that up for my diesel...

My original plan is for a 5" straight, turbo-back exhaust. Now I'm wondering if I can can fab up something to make it duals with two 5" tips that could fit a sport bumper.

That would be nuts for a cummins that looked like a hemi. The ******* tailgating me would have no f*n clue what was coming!

It's raining outside here in Vegas (hard to believe), so tomorrow I'll have to take a look and see if the bumper mounts are the same for HD and the sport trucks.

If you ever pull a trailer and should you delete the trailer will be covered in soot

The spare tire will be in the way to do 5"
I'm just not a fan of it on Cummins, but then again I hate scrubbing the one side of my white livestock trailer too

I believe someone had a thread about this before with pictures of someone who removed their spare tire and installed duals
And it looked just like a hemi and that was about it

You could prolly run your 5" back to a split 3" and maybe not have to pull your tire.

You would get basically the same flow. I agree with the above though. Your trailer will hate you. That, and the echo that would result on a gooseneck are two reasons I never pipe my exhausts out the back.

i'm guessing that the brackets would not be a direct bolt on from a 1500 to 2500

I don't pull any trailers, just haul in the bed every now and then. I travel to Dallas from vegas almost each month.

I have no problem with dropping the spare to make it fit.

I'm towing occasionally now. But I still really want to do this.

I'll be looking for a sport rear w/ sensor holes.

Anyone got one?

No, we're not related. We meet a bunch of other truck owners in Plano on Saturday nights.
First meet was 2 weeks ago and he was sharing a lovely story about painting his chrome bumper.
I just wanted to antagonize him a bit.
Are you in the FW area?

Edit: I WILL be keeping an eye on my bumpers at future meets.

Nope not related. We know each other through the Carhartts & Tailgates DFW meet in Plano. I went on about my experience painting my bumpers myself and how I would just pay someone next time. I assure you that it's a very humorous story.

A friend of mine just picked up an R/T bumper for me that is primered grey. So now once he brings that up from Houston, I'll start bending some pipe and doing 5" in and out black slashed rolled tips. Looks like this is going to happen!!
