Of the orientation of the air sensor that is on the air tube near the throttle body on a 2013 1500 5.7. I installed my S&B CAI and just want to make sure 100% that I put it back in its factory orientation as the directions so explicitly stated. An up-close picture would be fantastic. Thanks!

It's an IAT sensor...it doesn't care where it's at as long as it's in the airstream.

While i appreciate your response, the directions said otherwise.

If someone has the same truck as me and can post a pic that would be great.

The directions are to cover their ass because the majority of the general public doesn't understand what the sensor does or how it works...or where it needs to be.
I had mine in the inlet to the airbox...ahead of the filter for a while. It worked fine there and it works fine now in a different spot between the intercooler and TB....with a supercharger blowing on it.

I'm right....period. Put the damned thing in and don't worry about it. Hell....for all it cares just plug it in and let it hang....it's an Air Temp Sensor...It does not care where it is.
