So I’ve changed the AAT sensor twice, and am still getting the P0073 & P0070 code. Can anyone help me with the next diagnostic steps?
I forgot to mention that the problem started at the same time I plugged my block heater in. Every time I’d plug in my block heater, my AAT would read north of 130 for a while then go back to normal. The last time it went up to 150+ and wouldn’t go back to normal. I disconnected the battery, when I reconnected it the AAT read -40 and has been that way since, even after replacing the AAT sensor twice.

The PCM can set P0073 if the AAT is much higher than the ECT and/or IAT because that's implausible. Is it possible the sensor gets that warm when the block heater is plugged in ? Is this a factory block heater ?

-40F is an indication that the sensor is not functioning at all now. Put one of the old sensors in and doublecheck the wiring to it.

Yes it’s the factory block heater. It went to -40 with the first AAT sensor. When it wouldn’t return to normal, I disconnected the negative terminal and when I reconnected it was at -40.

You could ohm the sensor out with a multi-meter when the tk is cold, then look up the ohms on a sensor ohm/temp table to see if it's matching the scanner results. If it matches on the table then you can look further downstream like for corroded, burned or pinched wiring, etc.
