I screwed up today and put 9 gals of Biodiesel in my 2015 Ram ECO Diesel

Well I was in hurry and gassed up at a Chevron Station and used biodiesel in my 2015 Ecodiesel Ram. I''ve always been very careful about not doing that. So what can I expect in running bio-diesel in my 2015 Ram ? I've always used good # 2 diesel and no Bio=diesel. Should I be concerned ?

The HPFP and injectors will be better lubricated running biodiesel. Biodiesel usually has a higher cetane rating so the fuel typically burns better and the engine may run quieter.
Aside from shorter maintenance intervals the big downsides to biodiesel is it has slightly less energy per gallon (less power/mpg) and it has a tendency to gel quicker in cold temperatures.
If your not already, it's a good idea to add a lubricity additive to regular diesel.

I see your on the Oregon coast, just an FYI all diesel sold in the state of Oregon contains 5% Biodiesel, but some stations like Space Age are selling B20 at lower prices, so if you got some of that B-20 I would add some Power Service if your not on the hwy for long period of time or towing when using B20

Where the fun would really begin is if you mistakenly put diesel in a gas powered vehicle.
We had a customer once back in the 1970 that put diesel in the tank of his big Chrysler. He was all panicky but I told him at the time that that 1/4 tank of diesel wouldn't hurt ........... and it didn't.

I di that to my 1972 Dodge, that 318 stop running about 100 feet from the pump, I had to tow it home then remove all of the gas & diesel mix I could siphon out and replace it with fresh gas before i could get it running again, it was not and easy task an once it go running you could of used the whitish cloud of exhaust for bug fogger...

Yes I already use Power Service anyway.

Interestingly enough, the old VW diesel owners manual stated that gasoline could be used in it in a pinch. I didn't think that was true until a young Engineering Student pulled out the owners manual and showed me. I don't recall all the details.

Some of the early bio diesel made the exhaust smell like french fries and greasy spoon food. I know Willie Nelson owns a station selling bio-diesel off I-35 Near Waco, I wonder what his product smells like?

Probably did that alright but it was a new car actually first tank full. He was a farmer. Apparently the sales guy told him he could burn any kind of fuel. He didn't say leaded/ unleaded or premium.

Willie hasn't owned that in years. Ta petro bought it out years ago it's not worth stopping at anymore doesn't even have any kind of restaurant in it or even a hot dog .

War stories... In my '14 Cummins I was on a road trip and running near E and had to fill 'er up with a load of B20 because that was all whatever brand fuel stop had. To me it felt like it had less power (as crash68 said), but I can't really prove it and it may have been all in my head. But it did smell funny so I've stuck with good ol' #2 since.

War story #2... 1990s ancient history...I had a Chevy Suburban 454 (gas), but it was out of service so I borrowed my buddies diesel Suburban ('90s era) to tow to the drag strip. It was about 100 miles to the track we were racing at so I figured we should top off the tank. I pull up to the pump and let my wife fuel it up while I checked the trailer rigging and got race gas....yes, you could get 100 octane Cam2 at the pump at this station!

About 60 miles down the road the truck starts running bad and I smelled gas. We rolled into a rest area about to give up on race day but a big rig driver saw we had a diesel and offered to help if he could. My wife fessed up to putting gasoline in it ("How should I know?!"). Fortunately we had some empty fuel jugs and a siphon and got as much of the gasoline out as we could. The trucker generously gave us 5 gallons of diesel out of his rig and we were on our way.

No problems getting to the track or home, and I filled it again with diesel to dilute any remaining gasoline. Fast forward to two weeks later and the fuel pump gives out on my buddy's Suburban. Oops, that one's on me.
