I see better, they see less! (Updated Pic - 12/24/11)

So today I got my tinted tails in from Jeremy at Retro Shop. And installed a set of Xentec 6000K HID kits for my heads and fogs. I ordered the HID's from Ebay on Monday, and they showed up on my doorstep yesterday! Total with error code canceler came to $70 shipped. Since I will be doing the projector retro after the new year. I didnt see the point of paying for the NightVison hids now, when I will have to buy a different bulb for the projectors down the road.

After just about a thousand and one emails to JJ and PM's to Musclemckeester. And late nights on the laptop debating on which route to go. I chose the cheap way out. So far they are working great. No error codes, and no flicker at this time. I aimed the heads downward to avoid blinding oncoming traffic, and smaller cars when I pull up behind them.

As far as the tails go... I am SOOOOO glad I took JJ's advise and went with the medium tint. On black trucks, the level 3 Dark tints are badass. And thats what I wanted at first. But after sitting back and thinking about it. With my 5% tints on all the windows, soon to be tinted windshield, and the level 3 Dark tints on the tails. I was begging for a ticket.

Jeremy has been excellent and on point with the customer service, even after I bought from another vendor.

So for now, here are some teaser pics til I wash the truck tomorrow.

Thx man. Eveyone sees the driveway before the truck lol!

Bought this house from foreclosed owner. Place was super cheap, and a dump. The car in the driveway, is of the property appraiser before we closed.

Were the xentec kits pretty simple to install?

The bulbs were a pain to get in the housings, thats it. I bought some Male/Female spades to wire in the error code cancelers. So some splicing, but nothing major.

I had the xentec kits in my headlights and my fogs on my f150 awhile ago and i loved them for the price. Much brighter than stock and for 30 bucks you cant complain at all! Plus install was pretty straight foreword! Im waiting on my bulbs to get here for the dodge so i can put that kit in my heads and eventually do my fogs as well!
