I think this is why I like the look of the 2019 Ram

Yikes calm down there buddy, sorry I asked.

Oh I'm not upset. You said I didn't answer his question and I just wanted to summarize earlier answers that you may have missed. I didn't want you thinking I didn't want to contribute to Rammer's desire to save money.

It's all good. This is just how forums go.

Was just looking for some specific numbers from both of you, I'm sorry if I misunderstood the tone of your response (definitely agree this happens on forums a lot). No biggie if you don't feel like sharing those again, I am being lazy in not checking in with the 4th gen forums much lately but I've been much more interested in the 5th gens since they came out.

I wont be bashful in saying what i saved on my 2018: $15k off, and i`m VERY happy with that,
and i dont have to worry much about the newest dodads going sideways on a 2019 that hasn`t proved itself yet.

We all know, that a new vehicle first year out of production, has growing pains.
I just prefer not to be a test guinea pig, and save some money to boot.

And the look of the 2019 hasn`t quite grown on me yet, but it IS, gaining.
I would rather wait a few years for them to get all the bugs settled first... but thats just me.

Be proud of that 2019, (or any 4th gen for that matter) these ARE the nicest trucks out there...!

I have found it almost impossible to find two vehicles that are exactly alike. There is almost always something different in the list of equipment. There are other variables, too, such as how much the dealer wants to sell that particular vehicle on that particular day. That doesn't match up to anything.

Even though I am not a fan of the new styling overall, the Rebel is sharp and as I have said before, there isn't a finer interior in the truck market than what Ram puts in the new Limited and Longhorn! That interior is to die for!

Dang what the heck happened with THIS posting lol. Op stated he thinks this is why he likes the look, and the postings ended up in left field. I know we can get off track as certain things written in the forum can set others off. But this really took the [emoji512]. Smiling so that no one takes offense. :)

surely I'm partly to blame! :) I'm going to ban myself from this post for a day. I'm going over to the 4th Gen forum and hang out with them and see what kind of deals they are getting.

But this is why I like the look-------just got back off the road. Moved my daughter back into college and I finally got to see some 19s on the road. I've only seen 1-2 in my city. Man, do I love how this thing looks coming towards me. Saw a black Laramie pulling a travel trailer on a back road. We made eye contact and when I turned and looked at my wife, she just shook her head and said "you guys and your trucks" lol

Saw a black Rebel on a dealer lot today. The Rebel is the only model where the front end looks better than the '18.
Too bad Ram didn't transition the rest of the front ends to this generation in the same manner. The fronts they gave us are horrible. The black editions hide some of the design weirdness, but it still isn't that attractive. The brow and the hood badges need to be gone.
I also looked at a bunch of the other models today. The wheels leave much to be desired too, even the Laramie '18's. The Laramie 20's and 22's look fine.
On the DS all the wheels were decent except maybe the basic Express '17's.
Ram spent all their money on the interior. The exterior is like an afterthought, especially the front. They didn't want the cross hair but it seems like they couldn't figure out what they wanted in its place. Combining design elements from Chevy, GMC, Tundra, and Ford turned out to be not so attractive, more like weird.
