Just drive in tow haul all day and goose it. The 3.92 makes for light throttle off the start if turning a corner, it wants to break loose lol. Must be the new 8 speed trans, my 2005 was nothing like this beast with the similar setup at the time. This truck seems to be all or nothing with the throttle delay.

Correct. My '09 Ram had 3.92s. I also spent some time driving a buddies truck with 3.73s. Personally, I couldn't tell the difference, it was so slight. Put a taller tire on it and call it a day.

Send you have 10 year old truck,
You have most like got 150k + on
It. Your going need spend $1500 on upgrade the axle. But open the axle most likely new bearings an ujon
Maybe brakes parts, so now you $2500
In to this and it as the same truck,
Maybe if stat to pull a trailer lot ,look at truck more suit for job.

Change tire size to larger diameter. If you need to get into the diff, I'd look at installing limited slip TruTrac or Detroit locker and THEN think about new gears. I have 4x4, so would have to change front and rear...tires are my choice.
