If you had $1000 to spend on your truck, what would you get?

Fund a good chunk of the tuner / delete kit I have been eyeing for my 6.7 CTD.

I just did this.

I ordered a Pedal Commander and some Bora wheel spacers.

The rest goes towards labor to have the front Bilstein shocks installed.

Great looking truck! Is that a rebel or a warlock? I like the grille design so much I added one to my Express to make it Rebelis lol!

it’s a warlock! Couldn’t justify spending so much on a rebel and air suspension worries me. I got a great deal on this. Love your grill looks great!

Can i ask why, does this FOX do the same thing as Bills only a better shock?

Better shock, different valving. Does same as Bilstein but slightly smaller lift range, tops out at 2 inches. Does not reuse factory coil. Aluminum instead of zinc coated steel bodies.

Only thing that I would like to swap is the 8.4 for the 12.1 unit but $1000 wouldn’t be enough. It would help with the cost though.

Get the Tesla style radio instead! Prob $500 in your neck of the woods that’ll be my next expensive mod. About $800 dollhairs up here in the arctic (Canada)

60% of the time it works every time....

For $844.00, from Moe's, I got an 87mm ported throttle body, a Billet oil catch can, and a Vararam cold air intake. That's money well spent for bolt-on performance products. Granted, the catch can doesn't make my hemi run much better. But it may help it run longer!

K thanks for answering, I guess if I'm going to do a 4" lift at some point not worth the investment.

Actually, I take the exact opposite position. I plan to do a 4" lift. A number of these lifts re-use factory struts which means the factory ride is, at best, what you will get after lifting. Replacement of strut with a quality coilover like Fox would change the ride quality for the better (IMO). In other words, the Foxes would get re-used in a 4 inch lift install. It is basically what you see people doing with Bilsteins now on the Superlift/Mopar or the BDS/Zone. But you get better valving.

I just ordered a Billet Catch Can, K&N Cold Air Intake, and a Pedal Commander. That was just about 1k for all of it.

Now, I wait...

Is it here yet?

Oddly enough.. I think I'd lower my lift.

I got the Mopar 2" lift the month after I bought my Ram, and it's been awesome but since it's kinda one-size-fits-all, the RCSB is the lightest truck and I got slightly over 3 inches of rear lift. With the front Bilsteins at 2.8" I pretty much have the factory rake but roughly 3 inches taller... that's been cool it got my factory front bumper up off the ground a little. But then I got a high clearance front bumper.

With a spare $1k to throw at the truck I'd probably buy shorter rear lift springs and drop the front down to 2.1" or get a new set of struts built for about 2" of lift instead of the 2.8 I have now.

With the leftover.. bout time I finally buy myself one of these things.

I'd just fix the last few things I'm too lazy to fix; driver's side seat ventilation not working, passenger seat squeaks sometimes on bumpy roads, and I think my windshield washer motor burned out. Otherwise everything is pretty much just the way I like it now.
My truck is just PERFECT. I would put all the money in the gas tank.
Wouldn't that clog the fuel filter?
