If you had $1000 to spend on your truck, what would you get?

Your truck would say, unless I am fully paid off, put it in the bank and use it for my next few payments or pay off some other debts.... your status is not measured by your vehicle. Keep it clean and nice and people think, wow what a great looking vehicle. Keep adding stuff on like oversized wheels, tires and lift kits, performance enhancers that just make the mileage go down, noisey mufflers ect..... And people see a parking lot princess that someone who lives in a trailer, wasted a ton of money on (no offense meant but it’s true). Remember insurance only pays for the value of the vehicle. It does not over the thousands of dollars of add ons. Sorry but I am “that guy”....

thanks Dad :Nonono:

Hmmmmm...you guys are going to think I'm nuts, but I'd put it towards installing a 225 Slant Six in place of the 4.7 that's there now.

Sprint Booster, cold air intake that brings in cold air from the fender well, and a Carven exhaust for me, (debating between the Progressive and the Competitor series). That's just for a few simple diy bolt ons. For big horsepower gains I've got big ideas but not a big enough bank account to put those big ideas into action.

I would take the money, add a bit more to it, and get a full-float/locking hub kit for the front end and get rid of those $#@ unit bearings.

Which is exactly what I -am- going to do when I have the money.

I just ordered a Billet Catch Can, K&N Cold Air Intake, and a Pedal Commander. That was just about 1k for all of it.

Now, I wait...

Is it here yet?

I got the PC this morning and it's been installed and road tested. I set it to Sport+ @ +4 mode, jacked all the way up and holy moly that's a bit touchy. lol

The CAI is already here, just waiting on Billet which looks like it'll be here tomorrow. Looking forward to having everything installed this Friday.

lol Understandably so. I was testing the limits of it to get a better feel for what it does. Gonna back it off to a more 'sane' level.
