I've owned this truck since brand new 2018 Laramie, and this is the first time I've noticed this. This morning granted not very noticing on things, but I noticed that the mirror buttons on the driver's door on the driver's armrest and also the right, fold and left. Buttons are not lighted, are they supposed to be?

No, but if you replace the switch assembly with the one from the jeep grand Cherokee, they are.

I changed out my mirrors to color matched powerfold on my 24 and opted for the jeep switch, it's back-lit.

Exact same switch, same features but backlit

Been the same switch panel since 2011, suggest you stay with your model year.

I upgraded mirrors, door modules and switch at the same time. So I bought everything 24.

Just make sure you select the correct rear connector style. There are 2 connector ones and 1 connector ones. Just match what you have.
I did it on my '16 Sport and works great.

A good source for figuring it out, believe it or not, is Amazon
