In search of front hood seal

So not long ago I made a thread tracking down a wind whistle. I was able to isolate the whistle to the front of the hood between the grill and front hood gap. Apparently after late 12 model year dodge implemented a weather seal between the hood and grill. This seal is attached to the top lip of the hood. For whatever reason my 16 doesn't have this rubber seal, I believe this is one of the main reasons I have the whistle. I was able to locate the part # 68158627AB. Question is since my truck is still under the 36k bumper to bumper would a dealership order me that part under warranty...if not plenty of sites online have it instock but charge 15-20 shipping making this simple rubber seal $50. Does anyone know of any sites that offer free shipping for OEM parts? If so point me in the right direction!

Did you buy the vehicle used. I know with the plastic hood shields, you are supposed to remove that rubber seal. If you bought used, maybe previous owner had a shield and did not replace seal after removal of said shield. If you bought new, and dealer will not help you out, could always look at the junk yards for a wrecked truck... just a thought..

Could you just buy it from the dealer and save on the shipping?

If you are the original owner, I would expect it to be taken care of under warranty.

You may be looking in the wrong area--

Whistles usually are caused by drivers/passenger door "upper gap" and can be remedied by adjusting the door bkts-

My RAM doesn't have any front hood seal, but several of my last jeeps/trucks had this problem--

I was able to find the seal on Amazon with free shipping and no tax $30. The temporary weather strip I used has eliminated the whistle till the official seal comes in.
