Well I borrowed Randy's cam tuner and it's stalling far less, I've got about 120 miles on it and even though I haven't gone WOT, part throttle is frickin' amazing!! Gawd does this ***** pull with just half gas!!!

Honestly the 268 sounded more lopey then with this cam in the stroker, even though this cam is bigger then a 273, the CI's just swallow it up.

Found something interesting in the oil pan, back about a year and a half ago I had a 6.1 spring fail. The feet broke off the damper and the damper was banging against the valvecover. I always wondered what happened to the feet, well during the shortblock install I found them in the pan.

Damn that's pretty crazy. At least you found them. That coulda messed some **** up good huh?

Once they hit the pan I was safe, I just would have thought they flowed out with an oil change. I thoroughly checked the heads for those feet when I replaced the spring, so I assumed/hoped they just went down the oil return holes to the pan. The damper has 6 feet and I found 5....wonder where that last one got to?

Good deal about the stroker you'll love it! Right now I'm running stock heads until I can afford the Eagle 09' heads and 6.1 intake. As far as cam I don't have the specs in front of me but it's a little bigger then a 273. Strokers can swallow huge cams with their extra cubes.

Im courious on the specs when ya come by the card Sam. On the stroker with the 09 heads down the road im wondering if we can run somthing bigger then a 600 lift.

You'll be limited by the rocker geometry and such to .570ish lift MAX. Funny thing is this big assed cam idles like it's between a 260 and 268....very mild, so mild in fact I'm running this truck now on a Diablo 93 tune(until I can swap in the 6.1 injectors and custom tune) with only the idle raised to 750....and it hasn't stalled once since?! I also added as much fuel using Diablo as I could and it's stuck at 14.0 AF ratio at WOT, so I've probably maxed out the stock injectors. Stu said I would have to go with 6.1 injectors with the motor and heads/intake I'm running, then when we do the eagle heads/6.1 intake we'll have to bump the injectors to SRT-4 variants.
