Info on remote start and back up camera.

I have a 2011 ram and has the uconnect but no back up camera. How hard would it be to install one? Also the remote start. Thanks for any info

Installation of the camera involves replacing the tail gate handle, running wiring to engine bay and cab, tapping into the reverse light lead in the engine bay, center dash dis-assembly to access the rear of the factory head unit and sliding harness pins into the factory radio connector. If you have some mechanical skills it is fairly straight forward, just have to pay close attention to the radio connector retrofit as it varies depending on the model. The kit comes with detailed instructions.

After the unit is installed the dealer still needs to program your factory radio at approximately $120.
